In a New York Times review (Feb. 12, 2006) entitled "The Software You Buy vs. the Free Stuff", H&R Block At Home tax software won, TurboTax got good marks, and 2nd Story Software's TaxAct lost as the worst tax software of the three reviewed. The reviewer summarized by saying, "This year, I again preferred TaxCut over TurboTax and, again, the choice has to do with organization."
